“I was Isabella’s oncologist and it was truly an honor and blessing to be part of her and her family’s lives. It was my honor to have a front row seat to Marilyn Morales’ health and wellness journey as she navigated the healing process from the death of her daughter. Marilyn’s resolve to reclaim her health and use Isabella’s legacy as a reminder of what is possible with community, communication, and commitment is admirable and what makes Marilyn one of a kind. This book will impact so many others like Marilyn dealing with intense suffering and trauma, as it provides the tools you will need to manage grief and begin the healing process.” -Dr. Dana Walker, Pediatric Oncologist
“It’s been an absolute blessing to my life getting to know Marilyn. She is so inspirational and embodies the word “resilience”. There have been many testing times she had to endure; the loss of her daughter, September 11th, 2001 in NYC, and more. This is a timely read given how the pandemic has affected us all. We can fi nd purpose through pain and this book with the guidance of Marilyn will show you how.” -Jose Escobar, Founder & CEO of The Entrepreneur’s Bookshelf
